Dave Long served as an Air Force Musician for 30 yrs and recently retired in the grade of CMsgt. During his time in the Air Force, Chief Long traveled across the world and performed in Europe, Alaska, Japan, and Canada. He has been on stage backing up such notables as Doc Severinson, Jack Jones, the Lettermen, Herb Reed, and Della Reese. Since retirement, Dave has been involved in the Community Music Scene, performing at times with the Seacoast Wind Ensemble, the Strafford Wind Symphony, the Cate Park Band, the Upper Valley Community Band, the Plaistow Jazz Band and the New Legacy Swing Band. He also is called on occasionally for session work, which he really enjoys.
His hobbies also include percussion instrument restoration, furniture refinishing, skiing, golfing, and most of all Dog Mushing!
He is married to Bonnie and has one daughter, Vanessa!
